PUBG Mobile is celebrating its second anniversary and launching the latest update to the 0.17.0 version for all players. The update brings back the Hardcore mode with amusement park mode, new weapons, death replay, and a new theme—"2gether We Play".

The update weights at 1.69 GB on Android and 1.95 GB on iOS, so be sure to upgrade to the new version of your app. Before March 6, players changing their game are entitled to 50 Silver coins, 2,888 Fight Points, and Pan skin's 3-day anniversary.

Amusement Park Mode

The developers have added on the Erangel map a new Amusement Park Mode that was gone live as of March 12. In the mode three amusement parks with activities such as hunting game, space battle, shooting range and trampoline will appear in Erangel.

These amusement areas also have arcade machines that players can use tokens to interact with. Alternatively, these parks are spawned by reverse bungee machines that let players jump in the air and glide using a wingsuit.

DBS Shotgun added

The new update adds DBS Shotgun, a pump-action a double-barrel shotgun that can be accessed by airdrops. It can carry 14 rounds of 12 gauge ammunition and features a quicker reload speed than other game shotguns. These may provide holographic, red dot sight and 2x, 4x, and 6x scopes.

The DBS is a double-barrel pump-action bullpup shotgun, which can only be purchased initially from Care Packages.

The DBS shotgun is suitable for close-quarter fighting and is highly effective in causing damage and reloading.

Royale Pass Season 12

The second anniversary of PUBG Mobile also kicks off the much-awaited battle royal title Season 12 and is called "2gether We Play ." The new Season introduces improvements to the Royale Pass reward that will allow players to select between two sets of anniversary pieces.

Additionally, the shopping experience was adapted to a new interface and voucher service. The game also provides exclusive bonus benefits for players who first buy the Royale Pass for Season 12.

Besides these, there are solo objectives and missions that players need to complete in order to collect rewards.

Hardcore Mode returns along with new Arctic Mode

With the new 0.17.0 update, the Hardcore mode returns to PUBG Mobile. Players will have to do everything manually in this mode, from opening the door to picking up ammunition for your weapons. There is no sound warning if enemies surround you to make the game a tad bit fun so players need to keep their eyes open for surprise attacks.

There is a new Arctic map that is being introduced under EvoGround mode with the latest update. The map is based in Vikendi, with players coping with Arctic storms and keeping themselves warm all night long. It's like a mode of survival, where players need to gather branches and sticks to light a fire to combat the cold temperatures.

The game will also require players to hunt and cook chickens to maintain reasonable body temperature. This mode also brings in drones to track surrounding areas in order to establish tactical survival solutions.

Death Replay, Universal Mark, Colourblind mode and more

PUBG Mobile's new update brings the much-anticipated Death Replay feature that lets players experience their elimination from the game. To players who want to know the game's mechanics and keep an eye out for the last guy standing in a safe way to step on, it comes in handy.

Universal Mark will allow players to mark places, supplies, and other such elements for more natural communication in the game.

The colorblind mode was created to provide the in-game indicators with more color choices.

Brothers in Arms Function

1.  Veterans with a wealth of game experience can mentor and play along with rookies in the game by Brothers in Arms. Rookies can learn from veterans, and quickly master the game, while veterans can get great rewards.

2.  The Brothers in Arms program can be entered by players and enrolled as a Rookie or Veteran. Rookies will submit invitations to recommended veterans, and will receive the invitation from veterans who have activated Rookie Matching status. After matching, the two will join the fight which supports calculations for the Classic mode ranking.

Firearm Balancing

1.  Slightly increased firing rate on the gun burst mode.

2.  M16A4 balance adjustment: marginally higher fire burst mode and increasing horizontal and vertical recoil.

3.  Increased single-shot damage to the Mk47 from 46 to 48.

Other Improvements

1.  Upgraded Versions Dacia and UAZ.

2.  Changed the UZI model: added an upper guide for Red Dot and Holographic Sight fittings.

3.  Enhanced skydiving animation details, added down and disappearing parachute effects when landing, and enhanced character landing animation.

4.  Control Settings-Custom interface enhancements: Overall button size adjustability increased to 250 percent.

5.  Control Settings-New Custom Setting Feature: You can push the left Fire button off the edge of the screen as long as the center of the button is on the screen.

6.  Improved the particle effect of the Molotov cocktail flame.

7.  Enhanced the impact of the Frag Grenade blast on different surface materials.

8.  For example, Shivering emote in Vikendi has been added to standby player emotes on all maps in classic mode.

9.  In war, the standby emote is accessible only to the player and their teammates.

10.  In Custom Settings, added a second confirmation to the Reset button to prevent players from resetting the interface by error.

11.  Removed unnecessary settings for vehicles with virtual speech. Fixed problems with Dacia idle volume are too low, Motorcycle idle volume is too high and Rony idle volume is too high.

Feature Improvements

Enhanced headphone latency in Bluetooth on some Android devices.

Improved Performance

1.  Improved vegetation and fighting allowing better gameplay performance and lower power consumption.

2.  Enhanced low-level logic and UI performance with the same frame rate on some Android models for lower power consumption.

3.  The program will send a message to the two when the reserved player returns to the Lobby to team up.

Popularity Improvements

1.  Added "Airplane" high-value gift with additional replay effect in Player Spaces.

2.  Text inserted. When sending Sports Cars or Airplanes, players can connect a message, and the player who receives the message can perform Pin, Respond, Delete and other acts (also added Block Message to Blacklist).

3.  Added a Submit Popularity Gifts feature to the Teammate Spectating, EvoGround, and Team Deathmatch modes app for combat performance.

Synergy Feature Improvements

1.  Boost Teamwork by teaming up with colleagues or by gifting coins.

2.  Many space gifts can also help boost synergy by giving it to friends, and does not have a regular cap to increase intimacy.

3.  Adjusted through the proportion of Synergy when sending gifts in the Store.

4.  In certain cases resolved the problem of losing Contact application.

Radio Feature

1.  Added chat element "Radio." Players can use Radio to post radio messages to World Channel 2 with an exclusive effect.

2.  Players can receive radio messages from the main menu or from the World 2 screen, or block the radio channel in Settings.

Bonus Challenge - Tournaments

1.  Feel the thrill of progress: Daily Play-> Weekly Game-> Monthly Play Contests! Monthly match winners progress to the online finals and fight for the opportunity to reach the offline finals or see the venue's regional finals and see well-known players in practice!.

Crew Challenge Upgrade

1.  Player and crew verifications for players taking part in the Crew Challenge are necessary. Added Close-Up View: As players put on helmets, caps, glasses, masks, and backpacks, the game will automatically turn to close-up view.

Tutorial Improvements

1.  The Graphics Standard Selection prompt was dropped from the tutorial.

2.  Changed the tutorial options from 3 to 2 and the game-type skill options from shooting game to the battle royal game.

Download Improvements

1.  Improved update status: Players can tap the task again while an update task is in the waiting list, to cancel the wait and restore the download status.

2.  Rewards Reset Resources Pack and Map Expansion Pack which can be obtained after download.
